No one cashed yesterday- Steve and Gary are still alive today. No report on Steve's stack - Gary is around 12k

Rene is still in - no chip count. Alan has 9600. Linn has 60k with 159 players left

Linn cashes!

The bubble broke- Linn made the money!  Min-cash is $2730. They are dropping like flies now!  Linn still around 70k

Getting ready for today...

Day 1 is done!

Linn is bagging up 53k with avg at 37k. Blinds go to 600/1200/200. There are 320 left with money at 297. He plays again at 1pm

Alan and Farid go deep in the 2pm deep stack!

Alan and Farid just got knocked out of the 2pm deep stack. There were 1286 players and Alan came in 38th for $1033.  Farid came in 29th for $1226.  Nice job boys!!

Linn wins big hand!

Linn raised from UTG+3 and got called from the next seat. Flop comes 772. Linn leads out and the villain calls. Turn is a 2. Linn bets and gets called again. The river is a 5 - linn shoves and the villain tank-folds. Linn goes to 34k with the avg at 31k. 396 players remain.

Lynn- still cruising!

 He has about 19k with the avg at 25k.  Blinds are 400/800/100. There are 490 of 2770 left. Cash starts at 297.  

Linn is still going!

Linn won a big hand about an hour ago to get to 21k with avg at 18k. Since then he dropped to 20k - right at the average

Linn makes the dinner break

Report from Linn at the dinner break:  5000 chips ..had over 6k but my jacks got beat by a K rag when he Rivered a K.  Just doubled up last hand before dinner. Avg chip stack 11,000

2 down - 1 still running...

Larry is out-  All in jq clubs 4 callers board hits 24 q turn 6 river 8 winner has pocket 7s i am done.  Patsy is out too. No details yet though I know she lost a big pot holding AA. Go Linn!

1st Break

Our players are on 1st break. There are still 2 more hours to buyin so we don't know how many entrants there are yet. Chip counts: Larry- $2200; Patsy- $10,000; Linn- $3,900

Anyone else going to Vegas?

Will anyone else be in Vegas this weekend? There are A LOT of great tourneys besides the WSOP. Also, the WSOP puts on daily lower buyin deepstacks at 2pm, 7pm and 10pm. Let us know if you'll be there!

Season VII WSOP Players Begin Their Campaign This Weekend!  

On Saturday, June 23rd Larry, Linn and Patsy will play in event 43: $1,500 NL Hold’em.  You can view the structure sheet here:  WSOP Event 43.

On Sunday, June 24th, Rene and Alan will play in event 44: $1,000 NL Hold’em.  WSOP Event 44.   FYI – Jonkey will be playing in this event as well. 

On Monday, June 25^th Gary and Steve will play in event 46: $2,500 NL Hold’em.  WSOP Event 46

This year there will be two ways to follow our players:

·         The main source will be our Facebook page at The San Diego Syndicate: Poker.  You will need to have a FaceBook account and then "Like" The Syndicate group page to see our updates.

·         Another resource will be here on our BlogSpot page.

Both sites should feature real time updates and we will try to "cross-update" them whenever possible.  We'll of course summarize the action on the website as well once the tournaments are over.  Good luck to all of our Syndicate WSOP players!
